Holiday fare in Tokyo
ate here (click Beach dining) on Thurs. great atmosphere and food but why oh why is it described as ‘most fashionable’… that makes it cheesy- I’m sorry. Pix to come later…
We had visitors in town so we took them to where we bring all visitors to Tokyo… Kaikaya by the Sea!! Here’s what we got this time. It was very yummy though ^^ poor fish.
The best hummus and strawberry bellini in town. We called at 5:50pm not expecting to get a spot for tonight at all, but they told us that if we made it there soon we could have a table before their 8:15 came. We jumped in a cab and got there by 6:15pm. Finished the meal with assorted gelato by 7:45pm. Fantastic Friday.

View from rooftop bar- I used to hate Hong Kong when I was younger. Smelly, crowded with rude ppl. But since I’ve moved out to Asia the Cantonese culture, food and new and old friends there make HK a home away from home away from ‘home’. Fab few days there. Back in Tokyo now. Well, after the almost 2 hour ride back from the airport that is groan
